In episode one, Matthew, an events coordinator from Philadelphia, faces off against Paul, a commodities trader from New Jersey, in game one, while Tome, a retail merchandiser from Detroit, Michigan, takes on Robin, a high school teacher from Northern Virginia, in game two. In episode two, Amy, a dean of students from Seattle, Washington and Billy, an industrial salesman from Montgomery, Texas face off in game one, while Eric, a director in business development from Austin, Texas plays against Matt, a software engineer artist from Seattle, in game two. in the all-new "Brains, Brawn & Battles / Teachers, Tech & Tunes" episode of Name That Tune airing Monday, Sept 14 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. DESCRIPTION:
(from FOX's web site, September 2025) Each episode will comprise of two standalone half-hour contests, each pitting two players against each other as they race against the clock to test their knowledge of songs, performed by the live band. Each contest features a rotating variety of games from the original format, before the iconic Bid-a-Note round. The player with the most money at the end of Bid-a-Note wins the game and takes his or her bank into the Golden Medley bonus round, for a chance to win additional cash and potentially the $100,000 grand prize.
