DESCRIPTION:
(from Lifetime's web site) This movie is the adaptation of Pulitzer Prize–nominated author Jerry Bledsoe's best-selling book. It's the tale of "Whitey" Black, a poor boy from the wrong side of the tracks who befriends middle-class kid Jerry Barlow. The pair meet when they end up sharing a paper route and embark on a crazy adventure while searching for a special doll that Whitey wants to give to his ailing sister.
