DESCRIPTION:
(from A&E's press release) Back in action tells the inspiring true story of Captain David Rozelle and is based on his book by the same name. On Valentine's Day 2003, David told his pregnant wife that he had been called to service in Iraq. Four months later, the 32-year old Captain lost his right foot in combat outside the town of Hit, Iraq. A few years later – and after a remarkable recovery -- David would snowboard, walk the NYC marathon and compete in a triathlon. In typical fashion, Captain Rozelle has since returned to active duty in Iraq. Rozelle was the first soldier ever to go back into action in a war after becoming an amputee. |
