DESCRIPTION:
(from LMN's press release, December 2025) Meredith runs a successful Lamaze business, holding classes for expectant mothers all over town. Ten years earlier, when she first began expanding from teaching in her basement, she hired new-in-town Eve, who has since become her best friend. While ostensibly employer and employee, they've become as close as sisters. So when someone begins stalking Eve, Meredith is determined to help. Does Eve have any idea who's harassing her? Eve's answers are maddeningly vague, but she alludes to a dark secret in her past she doesn't want to discuss. Whatever she's hiding doesn't matter to Meredith - she's a true blue friend. She begins investigating Eve's stalker, but what she uncovers is troubling. It looks like Eve may not be who she says she is, because Eve Mills is... dead? Suddenly Meredith finds herself torn between two wrenching possibilities - either Eve faked her own death and has been on the run, or the woman she knows assumed the real Eve's identity. As Meredith finds herself drawn deeper into the mystery, her life depends on figuring out whether or not Eve is a victim - or a murderer willing to kill again to preserve her secrets.
