DESCRIPTION:
(from HBO's press release) Starring Andy Serkis as Einstein and David Tennant as Eddington, the film takes a closer look at the biggest scientific breakthrough of the 20th century: the creation of Albert Einstein's general theory of relativity. This human story chronicles two men who, during a time of war, refused to accept narrow nationalistic boundaries and, against the odds, continued to strive for cooperation and a greater truth, in the process changing the world. Directed by Philip Martin from a script by Peter Moffat; executive produced by George Faber and Charles Pattinson; Mark Pybus produces. Debuts in 2008. |
