DESCRIPTION:
(from HBO's press release) Set against the backdrop of the same mysterious house frozen in time and seen through the eyes of Joe, a young, highly individual man, these companion films are written and directed by Stephen Poliakoff. "Joe's Palace" stars Michael Gambon, Rupert Penry Jones, Kelly Reilly, Rebecca Hall and Danny Lee Wynter in a story of an unlikely friendship between a lonely teenager and an eccentric tycoon. "Capturing Mary" stars Maggie Smith, David Walliams, Ruth Wilson and Danny Lee Wynter in the tale of a formerly successful writer and critic who enters a dark and terrifying exploration of the past and discovers how it can literally capture and destroy a person's life.
