DESCRIPTION:
(from HBO's press release) Actor-playwright Antony Sher brings the film version of his critically acclaimed one-man show to the screen, with Richard Wilson directing. Based on "Survival in Auschwitz," Primo Levi's first-person account of his year as a prisoner during the Holocaust, the play was adapted for the stage by Sher under the direction of Wilson. Frank Doelger and Tracey Scoffield executive produce; Ann Wingate produces. |
