ABC Gives "Samantha" an (Almost) Full Season

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC has given its returning comedy "Samantha Who?" an extra Halloween treat - seven additional episodes.
The pickup brings its season total to 20 installments, two shy of the typical full season order.
While far from an overall ratings juggernaut - it regularly takes third in its time period among adults 18-49 (behind NBC's "Heroes" and CBS's "Worst Week') - the series has yet to lose its slot among women 18-49 and women 25-54.
Furthermore in its most recent airing (October 27), "Samantha" posted week-to-week gains in total viewers (11.4 million vs. 9.6 million) and the key adults 18-49 demographic (3.0/7 vs. 2.7/6).
