ADAM & EVA (NBC) - Peter Gadiot and Kim Matula have both been cast in the drama pilot, based on the award-winning Dutch series. Gadiot will play Felix, "an ambitious fine art and fashion photographer whose depth and talent are an irresistible draw for Eva"; while Matula portrays Monica, "a Midwestern transplant who tries to make the best of a bad situation when her mistakes in love come home to roost." (Deadline.com)
FIND THE LIGHT (ABC) - Marsha Stephanie Blake has booked the lead role on the drama pilot: Ellen Roman, "the owner of the practice and a brilliant therapist, has her life shockingly turned upside down when she begins working with a sociopathic patient who may hold the key to the disappearance of her sister five years earlier. Blake's Ellen is smart, beautiful, a natural leader, instantly perceptive, capable of great empathy, fantastic dry sense of whip-smart humor; a deep well of contradictions stemming from a complicated childhood. She is the founder and main therapist of the "Mindful Insight Therapy Group;" she has both the command and vulnerability to make her the sort of therapist who gives everything she has to her patients. But that devotion, while a strength, is also her biggest weakness." (Deadline.com)
JUSTIFIED: CITY PRIMEVAL (FX) - The Timothy Olyphant-led revival series has cast Aunjanue Ellis as Carolyn; Boyd Holbrook as Clement Mansell; Adelaide Clemens as Sandy; Vondie Curtis Hall as Sweetie; Marin Ireland as Maureen; Norbert Leo Butz as Norbert; Victor Williams as Wendell; and Vivian Olyphant, Olyphant's real-life daughter, as Willa. No other plot details were given beyond what was previously released. (Deadline.com)
LAST THING HE TOLD ME, THE (Apple TV+) - Aisha Tyler, Geoff Stults, John Harlan Kim and Augusto Aguilera are the latest cast in the Jennifer Garner-led series. Tyler will play Jules, "the childhood best friend of Jennifer Garner's character Hannah"; with Stults stars as Jake, "Hannah's ex-fiancé"; Harlan Kim as Bobby, "Bailey's longtime high school boyfriend"; and Aguilera as Grady, "a US Marshall investigating Owen's disappearance." (Variety.com)
PLATONIC (Apple TV+) - The Rose Byrne/Seth Rogen-led comedy series has cast Luke Macfarlane as Charlie, "Sylvia's husband"; Tre Hale as Andy, "a friend of Will's and his business partner"; Carla Gallo as Katie, "Sylvia's best friend"; and Andrew Lopez as Reggie, "the main investor in Will's brewery." (Deadline.com)
STERLING AFFAIRS, THE (FX) - Ed O'Neill has been cast as former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling in the six-episode limited series. (Deadline.com)
TULSA KING (Paramount+) - A.C. Peterson has been cast in the Sylvester Stallone-led drama as Pete "The Rock" Invernizzi, "Chickie's (Domenick Lombaradozzi) ailing father." (Variety.com)
VIKINGS: VALHALLA (Netflix) - Florian Munteanu has signed onto the show's second season as George Maniakes, "a real-life general of the Byzantine Empire who answers only to The Emir." (Deadline.com)
WILL TRENT (ABC) - Jake McLaughlin and Iantha Richardson are the latest to board the drama pilot starring Ramón Rodríguez and Erika Christensen. McLaughlin will play Michael, "raised upper-middle class in the Atlanta suburbs, served overseas in the Army until an injury sent him home, where he's now a Detective with the APD. He has the vibe of a man who grew up watching tough-guy, anti-hero cops and is now excited to be one himself. Michael has a wife and kid at home, but you'd never know it by talking to him." And Richardson portrays Faith, "Will's partner. Faith was born into a law enforcement family, is armed with wicked wit, always considered herself one of the boys, then got pregnant at 14, but now she's pulled her life together to become a Detective. Faith's new assignment with Will is going to be her biggest challenge yet, but she's up for it, and she knows it could be a shortcut to becoming one of the top agents at the GBI." (Deadline.com)
