ALL AMERICAN (The CW) - Original cast member Taye Diggs has confirmed his exit from the series following the events of tonight's episode. (Deadline.com)
ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT (Netflix) - All five seasons of the comedy will depart the streaming service on March 15. The first three seasons, which aired on FOX, are still available to stream on Hulu. (Deadline.com)
BOYOS (Amazon, New!) - Rhys Mitchell, Lucia Aniello and Paul W. Downs are set to team for a single-camera comedy at the streamer which "explores the dynamic of a male friendship based on love, vulnerability and sweet boyo-ness." Mitchell is attached to star and co-wrote alongside Downs and Aniello with the latter directing. Warner Bros. Television is producing. (Deadline.com)
HOUSE OF KYLE (Amazon, New!) - Matt Warburton has sold a single-camera comedy to the streamer which "follows a young and temperamental American streetwear designer, who is hired to reinvent a struggling Italian fashion label owned by a wealthy family of warring siblings in Rome." Mindy Kaling and Howard Klein will also executive produce for Kaling International, 3 Arts Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television with Jessica Kumai Scott as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)
PENGUIN, THE (HBO Max) - Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O'Connell and Rhenzy Feliz have all been cast in the eight-episode limited series based on "The Batman" film. The latter is believed to be playing "a teen whom The Penguin (Colin Farrell) befriends and makes his driver." No details about the other characters were given. Production begins this month in New York. (Deadline.com)
RISE AND FALL OF THE MAYAS (NGC, New!) - National Geographic has acquired the worldwide rights to France's four-part series which "tells the entire story of the great Mayan civilization, which inhabited areas that are now regions of Central America." Pernel Media's CĂ©line Payot Lehmann and Samuel Kissous are the executive producers. (Deadline.com)
SINKING SPRING (Apple TV+) - The Brian Tyree Henry-led drama has cast Ving Rhames as Ray's father Bart, "who after years in prison, returns to his son's life with explosive results"; Dustin Nguyen as Ray's friend Ho Dinh; Nesta Cooper as Michelle, "a lawyer hired to represent both Ray and his de facto mother, Teresa (Kate Mulgrew)"; Idris Debrand as a younger Ray; Liz Caribel as Manny's girlfriend Sherry; Will Pullen as junior DEA agent Marchetti; and Kaci Walfall as Marietta, "a girlfriend from Ray's past." UNTITLED SAMMY DAVIS JR. PROJECT (Hulu) - Kimberly Harrison has been tapped as showrunner of the Elijah Kelley-led limited series which "explores the entertainer's life through the lens of his racial identity and his complex relationship with the Black community." Lee Daniels, Thomas Westfall, Marc Toberoff and Pam Williams also executive produce with Kelley and author Will Haygood receiving producing credits. (Deadline.com)
