ACCOMPLICE, THE (Peacock, New!) - Taraji. P. Henson is attached to star in a small screen take on the recently published novel by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and Aaron Philip Clark: "She is set to play Nia Adams, a fearless Texas Ranger on the trail of master thief Desmond Bell, whose latest target is one of America's wealthiest families. As Adams closes in, she uncovers a conspiracy so explosive it forces her to choose between exposing the truth and protecting the very system she swore to serve." The search is underway for a writer. Jackson and Henson will executive produce for Universal Content Productions, G-Unit Films and Television, and TPH Entertainment. (Deadline.com, 11/3)

Though he hides a dark secret, his carefully constructed life begins to crumble when he falls in love with Rowan Mayfair (Alexandra Daddario)." No details were given about Frain's and Scanlen's characters. (Variety.com, 11/4; Deadline.com, 11/6)
ASSASSIN, THE (AMC+) - Original streamer Prime Video UK & IE is developing a second season of the Keeley Hawes/Freddie Highmore-led drama, which will be available in the U.S. on AMC+. (Deadline.com, 11/7)
BAD BOY (Netflix) - Original broadcaster HOT has ordered a second season of the Israeli prison series. (Deadline.com, 11/3)
BEWITCHED (FOX, New!) - Judalina Neira is spearheading an hourlong reimagining of the classic TV series: "In the new Bewitched, whose tone is described as heartfelt, though they come from two wildly different worlds - he's a human, she's a witch - for Samantha and Darrin, it's love at first sight. But in order to be together, they'll have to navigate their disapproving parents, walk a tightrope of cultural clashes, and bridge the divides between their families and worlds." Doug Robinson and Lauren Moffat will also executive produce for Doug Robinson Productions, Last Words Productions, and Sony Pictures Television. Various takes on "Bewitched" have sold in recent years: from Marc Lawrence at CBS in 2011; Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein at NBC in 2014; and Kenya Barris and Yamara Taylor at ABC in 2018. (Deadline.com, 11/3)
BOSTON BLUE (CBS) - Xochitl Gomez will recur on the newcomer as Penny, "a quick-witted, charming young woman with a mysterious past who crashes into Sean's life, a role played by Mika Amonsen." (Deadline.com, 11/7)
CALL MY AGENT (HBO, New!) - Sarah Schneider is spearheading a U.S. take on the French TV franchise for the pay channel: "Taking a page from HBO's cult 1996 comedy-drama Arliss, the American adaptation is tweaking the premise, moving the setting to the sports representation world. In it, four work-obsessed sports agents struggle to balance their personal lives and their clients' needs in an industry where, more and more, it feels like being an athlete is just the start." Mediawan, Plan B, and SpringHill Studios are behind the project, with Brad Pitt, LeBron James, and Maverick Carter presumably also among the executive producers. (Deadline.com, 11/7)
CIA (CBS) - Production on the "FBI" offshoot has been paused as writer Warren Leight and director Eriq La Salle have both left the series, while Michael Michele's role is being recast. Mike Weiss, the current showrunner of "FBI," is in talks to run both series. None of the changes are expected to impact its expected midseason launch. Tom Ellis, Nick Gehlfuss, and Natalee Linez also star. (Deadline.com, 11/3; Variety.com, 11/6)

The show delves into how their lives are dramatically altered in a Sliding Doors-style exploration of one universe where they have a child and another where they don't." (Deadline.com, 11/7)
ESCORTED (Amazon, New!) - Actor/writer Brett Goldstein has scored an eight-episode straight-to-series order from Prime Video for a new single-camera series: "A divorced dad in Manhattan (Goldstein) accidentally becomes a male escort in the romantic comedy about second chances, the mayhem of co-parenting, and whether real intimacy can ever be bought." Brian Gallivan, Cooper Wehde, Josh Senior, and Molly Mandel will also executive produce for Warner Bros. Television and Amazon MGM Studios. (Deadline.com, 11/7)
FOSTER DADE (Hulu) - Matt Bomer has signed onto the drama pilot, which has also added Daniel Minahan as director. Bomer will play Alex Tierney, "the kind of literature teacher who makes you believe books can change your life - brilliant, eccentric, and "swoony," as the kids call him. He can spot depth of soul in his students from a mile away and pulls it out of them, sometimes ruthlessly. His intensity draws people in, blurring the line between mentorship and intimacy - which lands him in the thick of the Foster Dade scandal." (Deadline.com, 11/4)
GINNY & GEORGIA (Netflix) - Ali Skovbye, Kataem O'Connor, and Sunny Mabrey are bound for the show's fourth season as Rainn, Isaiah, and Daisy, respectively. No other details were given. (Deadline.com, 11/5)

NATION'S DUMBEST (FOX, New!) - The network is developing a domestic take on the unscripted effort from BBC Studios: "Created by Norway's Montreux Film and Fjernsyn for TV2, the series is the first television show where the loser is the winner. Celebrities fight it out to be eliminated from the competition as quickly as possible to avoid being crowned the nation's dumbest. From influencers to wrestlers, comedians to politicians, the contestants are put to the test in a series of physical and mental rounds about all the things you really should know." No specific auspices were given. (Deadline.com, 11/4)

Players must focus on teamwork, communication and coordination to successfully complete orders before customers get angry and storm out." Gemma Langford, Oli De-Vine, and Phil Duncan will executive produce for Ghost Town Games and A24. (Deadline.com, 11/5)

It features family dynamics, fierce rivalries, and the untold stories behind one of America's most iconic sports." Cliff Roberts, Mark L. Smith, Tim Clark, and John Dahl will also executive produce for NASCAR Studios with Gladys Cheng as a producer. (Deadline.com, 11/6)
UNTITLED JAKE SHANE PROJECT (Hulu, New!) - "Therapuss with Jake Shane" host Jake Shane will topline a proposed comedy at the streamer in which he plays a version of himself and "his best friends as they navigate the chaotic new world of online fame, the strain it puts on their friendships, and the tension their presence causes in their suburban neighborhood." Writer Genevieve Aniello and director Paul Briganti are behind the project, which is based on an original story by Shane, Aniello and Briganti. All three will executive produce alongside Alec Berg and Amy Solomon for 20th Television. (Variety.com, 11/5)
WAR (HBO) - Emma Laird has been cast in the upcoming drama as Molly Giordano, "a training associate at Taylor & Byrne. She works there with her best friend Saeed, who is also a training associate, but only one of them can secure an end-of-year training contract, which pits the two against each other in perpetual friendly rivalry."
