C-LEAGUE (Hulu, New!) - Charlie Hall, Alec Berg, and Amy Solomon are set to team for a half-hour comedy series at the streamer: "C-League follows five best friends in their late 20s on a quest to win the championship of their men's adult recreational basketball league. Together they'll attempt to battle male loneliness, navigate modern masculinity, and ideally shoot better than 26% from three and not be winded by halftime." Said trio will executive produce for 20th Television. (Deadline.com, 11/19)
FEAR THE WALKING DEAD (AMC) - Co-creator Dave Erickson has filed a lawsuit against AMC Studios over the lack of payouts from his profit participation on the series. (Deadline.com, 11/19)
GRIM (Netflix, New!) - Al Gough and Miles Millar are spearheading an adult animated series at the streamer based on Boom! Studios' horror-fantasy comic books by Stephanie Phillips and Flaviano Armentaro: "A character-driven supernatural saga, Grim follows Jessica Harrow, a newly recruited Reaper tasked with ferrying souls to the afterlife. Unlike her fellow Reapers, Jessica has no memory of her death or life before. Her search for answers pulls her deeper into the unseen architecture of the afterlife, revealing hidden forces, cosmic secrets, and her shocking personal connection to Death itself." Director Jennifer Yuh Nelson is also on board to executive produce alongside the duo, Aaron Schmidt, Stephen Christy, and Adam Yoelin for Millar/Gough Ink and Boom! Studios with Phillips, Armentaro, and Mette Norkjaer as co-executive producers. (Deadline.com, 11/19)

HUNTING PARTY, THE (NBC) - Niecy Nash-Betts, Eric McCormack, and his son Finnigan McCormack will guest on the upcoming season. Eric McCormack will play Ron Simms aka the "Boogeyman" killer in the season premiere, "at large and targeting women who are searching for love. Time is of the essence to stop him before he leaves more than broken hearts behind." Finnigan McCormack will appear as a younger version of Simms in a flashback. Nash-Betts then will appear in the second episode as Erica Burke, "a detective with a past connection to rural New Mexico serial killer Adrian Gallo, who preserved his victims in acrylic resin, the same way people preserve insects." (Variety.com, 11/20)
JOEY (NBC) - The eight unaired episodes of the short-lived spin-off series are now available on the "Friends" YouTube channel. (YouTube.com, 11/18)
LAST LOOK (Hulu, New!) - Taika Waititi and Jason Kim have sold a new half-hour comedy project to the streaming service: "Written and executive produced by Waititi and Kim, Last Look is a modern upstairs/downstairs comedy set in a luxury fashion house. It depicts the lives of the underdogs who work tirelessly to make the fashions come to life - and the fabulous monsters who design them." The pair will executive produce for 20th Television, home to Waititi's new first-look deal with the studio, the network, and fellow sibling FX Productions. (Deadline.com, 11/19)
POKER FACE (Peacock) - Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO, HBO and Max Content, revealed he has held conversations about bringing over the canceled Peacock series. "It's funny because we heard the original take, and when I heard that Peacock wasn't moving forward, we were curious. We've had conversations, but I don't know which way it'll go, but I think Rian is a fantastic filmmaker, and I love the idea of Peter Dinklage, but I have nothing to report on that," he said. (Deadline.com, 11/20)
TOO MUCH (Netflix) - Lena Dunham's romantic comedy series will not return for a second season. "Our intention was always to make Too Much as a limited series," she said at a FYC panel last week. "It was meant to feel like a classic transatlantic love story but with time to really dig into the complexities that a film doesn't have the space for." (Deadline.com, 11/21)
TULSA KING (Paramount+) - Gretchen Mol has joined the cast of the show's fourth season as Amanda Clark, "a Tulsa politician." (Deadline.com, 11/20)
WAY HOME, THE (Hallmark Channel) - The time-travel family drama will end with its upcoming fourth season. "Fans of The Way Home have enthusiastically watched and rewatched every episode since the first pond jump of season 1 as they've tried to piece together the brilliant puzzle Heather Conkie, Alexandra Clarke and Marly Reed expertly crafted," Samantha DiPippo, SVP of programming at Hallmark Media, told the publication. "We're grateful to our talented cast led by Andie [MacDowell], Chyler [Leigh], Evan [Williams] and Sadie [Laflamme-Snow], as well as our amazing writers and crew who have worked so hard on this show."
