AUNTIE SUPREME (CBS, New!) - Gloria Bigelow and Christy Stratton have sold a multi-camera comedy to the Eye: "Hailing from CBS Studios, the show follows a life coach who sees her self-focused, kid-free existence implode when she chooses to co-parent her nieces with her brother-in-law - a career-focused, overwhelmed father of three." Cedric the Entertainer and Eric C. Rhone of Bird & The Bear Entertainment will also executive produce with Allegra Newman serving as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com, 12/5)
BABYLON BERLIN (MHz Choice) - The German period drama has wrapped shooting on its fifth and final season of eight episodes. (THR.com, 12/2)
BRILLIANT MINDS (NBC) - Sarah Steele will recur on the series as Sofia, "a new patient suffering from a medical mystery that Wolf (Zachary Quinto) struggles to crack. She's a bit brazen, and becomes fast friends with Wolf after a run-in in the unlikeliest of places." (Deadline.com, 12/1)
BROKEN TOYS (Netflix, New!) - Marie-Claire Chappet's novel is being developed for TV by the streamer and A24: "Set during the dying days of pre-recession indulgence at an elite Scottish university, the book follows Charlotte, a hopeless romantic with a destructive streak, and Esmé, an enigmatic rich girl with a tragic past. Their lives are filled with toxic boys, broken families and destructive love-triangles, which threaten their enviable ecosystem. The book builds to a conclusion, a graduation party on a private Scottish island, with the years of rumor, secrets and lies threatening to implode on the protagonists." No auspices were given. CLIFFHANGER, THE (Peacock, New!) - Tina Fey is developing a new comedy for the streamer and Comcast sibling Sky. No plot specifics however were given. (Deadline.com, 12/3)
CLUE (Peacock, New!) - Writer Dana Fox and director Nicholas Stoller's proposed scripted adaptation of the classic murder mystery board game has landed at the streamer. Sony Pictures Television and Hasbro Entertainment are behind the project: "Inspired by the beloved game, Clue brings a modern twist to the colorful cast of iconic characters. When a group of strangers are invited to an eccentric billionaire's murder mystery night to solve the famous questions - who, where and with what - they quickly discover that nothing is what it seems to be, and the stakes are even higher than life or death." Gabriel Marano; Margy Love of Foxy, Inc.; and Conor Welch of Stoller Global Solutions will also executive produce. (Deadline.com, 12/4)

COUNT MY LIES (Hulu) - Kit Harington will star opposite Shailene Woodley and Lindsay Lohan in the limited series: "In Count My Lies, when compulsive liar Sloane Caraway (Woodley) fibs her way into a nanny position for the gorgeous and charismatic Violet (Lohan) and Jay Lockhart (Harington), it seems she's finally landed her dream job. But little does Sloane know, she's just entered a household brimming with secrets that are about to explode - with potentially catastrophic consequences for all." (Deadline.com, 12/4)
CROSS (Amazon) - Michelle C. Bonilla will recur on the upcoming season as Clare, "a strong woman who's taken her share of hits in life, and she's not afraid to dole out a few of her own. Clare has defined herself by a commitment to love and nurture Rebecca, the now-grown niece she's raised." (Deadline.com, 12/4)
CRY WOLF (FX) - Shawn Hatosy will star opposite Olivia Colman and Brie Larson in the limited series as "April's (Larson) husband and Mia's stepfather who is at the center of the girl's abuse allegations." (Deadline.com, 12/5)
DEAL OR NO DEAL ISLAND (NBC) - The network has canceled the competition series after two seasons. (Deadline.com, 12/2)
ETERNALLY YOURS (CBS) - Ed Weeks and Jaren Lewison are the first to be cast in the comedy pilot. Weeks will play Charles, "one half of a vampire couple that is currently locked in the fifth century of an interminable marriage (the other half being his wife Liz). Nobility back in the Middle Ages, Charles is now a pencil pusher who, along with his family, has to move every few years to avoid attracting attention to the fact that they never age. Charles disdains modernity and the weak-minded humans who inhabit it, which makes it all the worse when he learns his vampire daughter is now dating one." And Lewison is set as Max, "a hopeless romantic who is drawn to wounded people in need of fixing. But this time, perhaps, he's bitten off more than he can chew, in the form of his new girlfriend Emma, who is a commitment phobic vampire whose dad hates humans." FIRE COUNTRY (CBS) - Josh McDermitt will recur on the series as "the quietly upset and meek on the surface Landon who is Chloe's (Alona Tal) partner and a father figure to her son, Tyler (Conor Sherry). They recently lost their home in the wildfires. He knows that Tyler has been angry and acting out lately, but is shocked to hear that he ran away." (Deadline.com, 12/2)
FOSTER DADE (Hulu) - Jack Alldridge has scored the title role on the YA drama pilot, "a sophisticated mystery set at an East Coast boarding school that explores privilege, scandal, sexuality and masculinity amid the rise of social media, millennial anxiety and pharmaceuticals." The project has also added Wyatt Aubrey as Mason Pretlow, "cocky and with a chip on his shoulder, Mason carries himself with the entitlement of privilege but never quite the ease of his wealthier peers"; Olivia Campos-Tarantino as Porter Roth, "who is equal parts beautiful and vicious, with family compounds wherever the wealthy migrate"; and Vinny Chhibber as Ravi Charan, "intelligent, persistent, a former scholarship student at the elite Kennedy School, Ravi watched the saga of Foster Dade from a distance." GOD OF WAR (Amazon) - Frederick E.O. Toye has signed on to direct the first two episodes of the video game adaptation. He'll also executive produce alongside Ronald D. Moore, Maril Davis, Cory Barlog, Naren Shankar, Matthew Graham, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, Hermen Hulst, Roy Lee, and Brad Van Arragon for Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television. GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Kate Walsh will once again reprise her role of Addison Montgomery on the show's January 29 episode. No plot details were given. (Variety.com, 12/4)
HANDSOME DEVIL: CHARMING KILLER (Paramount+, New!) - The streamer has commissioned a three-part true-crime documentary series about Wade Wilson aka the "Deadpool Killer," who in 2019 was convicted of the murders of Kristine Melton and Diane Ruiz: "It unravels why the 25-year-old Florida man committed horrific violence - and why his mugshot made him a social media fixation, with legions of people becoming fascinated by his face tattoos and disturbing crimes. Wilson's trial was televised and picked apart by true-crime obsessives online." Dan Abrams, Rachel Stockman, Melody Shafir, Susan Zirinsky, and Terence Wrong are the executive producers for See It Now Studios and Law & Crime Productions with Aysu Saliba and Cara Tortora as supervising producers; and Brian Ross and Rhonda Schwartz as producers and directors. MOBLAND (Paramount+) - Johnny Flynn and Ophelia Lovibond have both joined the cast of the new season. No details were specified about their roles. (Deadline.com, 12/5)
PITT, THE (HBO Max) - The show's sophomore run has tapped the following actors to recur: Brittany Allen as Roxie Hamler, "an Emergency Department patient"; Bonita Friedericy as Cora Wilkins, "a woman visiting a patient in the Emergency Department"; Taylor Handley as Paul Hamler, "husband of an Emergency Department patient"; and Jeff Kober as Duke, "a motorcycle engineer who goes way back with one of the doctors." POWER BROKER, THE (Netflix) - Matthew Rhys is in talks to topline a small screen take on the seminal 1974 biography of New York urban planner Robert Moses: "The book explores how Robert Moses was the single most powerful man of his time in the City and in the State of New York. It highlights how things really get done in America's City Halls and Statehouses and brings to light information about national figures as Alfred E. Smith and Franklin D. Roosevelt, Fiorello La Guardia, John V. Lindsay and Nelson Rockefeller." No other details were given. Oliver Stone and James Gandolfini were among the auspices behind a 2011 effort at HBO to adapt the book as a TV movie. (Deadline.com, 12/1)
TEACH ME (Peacock, New!) - Mandy Moore is attached to star in an erotic thriller at the streamer: "It stars Mandy Moore as a teacher wielding power over an impressionable but unreliable student, chronicling what happens when that student becomes the teacher as an exploration of the blurred lines between sex, power and addiction." Writer Lisa Rubin is behind the project and will executive produce alongside Jessica Rhoades for A24 and Universal Television. (Deadline.com, 12/5)
TOMB RAIDER (Amazon) - Martin Bobb-Semple has joined the cast of the video game adaptation in a yet-to-be-revealed role. (Variety.com, 12/1)
TRUTH (NBC, New!) - Writers Dallas Jackson and David Marshall Grant are set to team with director Malcolm D. Lee for a new drama based on the life of Dr. Roger Mitchell, Jr., Washington, D.C.'s youngest and first Black chief medical examiner: "The series focuses on Xavier "Truth" Hall, the youngest chief medical examiner to take over a major-city morgue (Washington, D.C.), using his genius level medical knowledge to help solve mysteries about how people die and give families closure. He also uses the lessons of the dead to help the living, including his own estranged drug-addicted father." Dominique Telson and Michael Scott Allen will also executive produce for Blackmaled Productions and Universal Television with Mitchell Jr. himself serving as a co-executive producer.
