TRIO Original Cult Classics Including "Parking Lot," "24 w/" and "Facetime With Kurt Andersen" Resurrected On Newly Branded Website

BrilliantButCancelled.com Adds Five New Shows Including "American Gothic" With "Studio 60's" Sarah Paulson

NEW YORK February 12, 2007 Bravo announced the third phase of TRIO's analog to digital transformation with the introduction of www.getTRIO.com, a curated, daily pop-culture newsletter and broadband site that launches today. The announcement was made by Lauren Zalaznick, President, Bravo. getTRIO.com joins the previously announced broadband sites BrilliantButCancelled.com and OUTzoneTV.com which both launched in 2006, all of which will live under the umbrella of TRIOtv.com: pop, culture, etc., a linked family of media and entertainment-focused sites.

"This is a defining moment for the TRIO brand, as getTRIO.com joins our robust and vibrant broadband sites BrilliantButCancelled.com and OUTzoneTV.com," said Zalaznick (who also presided over TRIO). "getTRIO.com stands on the shoulders of TRIO's original, high-meets-low curatorial philosophy of pop culture, staying true to the brand but giving our passionate fans a deeper destination to explore what's smart, fun, and relevant every single day."

In an effort to satisfy the growing and discerning online audience, this new site created from the cable channel of the same name will have the same inherent sensibilities as its analog predecessor but will go way beyond just television. getTRIO.com will include several key components: a five-day-a-week email newsletter working under the mandate "A filter for all stuff pop culture, delivered daily." Each day's subscription newsletter will feature one bite-sized info-nugget in three distinct categories: Stuff to buy (books, clothes, cds, dvds, products, etc...); Stuff to do (concerts, events, travel, etc); and Stuff to see (architecture, art, exhibits, websites, etc). This uniquely culled, and often indispensable, information will live at www.getTRIO.com in archive form and can be customized in the MyTRIO section of the site. And TRIOToGo offers a weekly unique mobile version of the daily newsletter for the most passionate mobile users.

Classic TRIO documentaries "Parking Lot," "24 w/" and "Facetime with Kurt Andersen," as well as an eclectic mix of music videos, will exist on the broadband portion of the getTRIO.com site, giving fans access to those original cult classic series. A message board area will provide a home for the community of TRIO fans and viewers that crave info about what's hot and what's not.

Managing editor for getTRIO.com Charlie Suisman, and creator of the Manhattan Users' Guide (a.k.a. MUG), said, "getTRIO is like the friend whose judgment you trust: when we write about something, it's because we like it and we hope readers will like it, too. We do the legwork, constantly scanning the pop culture radar to help you spend your leisure time wisely."

Jason Klarman, SVP of Marketing & Brand Strategy, Bravo added: "In a world where you can search for everything and find nothing, getTRIO provides a filter that uncovers interesting and compelling items from the wide world of pop culture."

getTRIO.com joins BrilliantButCancelled.com, a site for the TV obsessed that resurrects critically-acclaimed television shows that were nonetheless, cancelled; and OUTzoneTV.com, the first online broadband and entertainment destination for the LGBT audience. Both broadband sites were created out of the most popular content on TRIO and links for all three sites can also be found at www.Bravotv.com

BRILLIANTBUTCANCELLED.COM ADDS NEW CONTENT

BrilliantButCancelled.com will roll out five new "brilliant but cancelled" gems from yesteryear beginning today. The new series are:

"American Gothic" (three episodes) Cast includes Sarah Paulson ("Studio 60"). A horror/drama/thriller series set in the heart of South Carolina in a small town called Trinity. In this town, not everyone is as they seem.

"Kolchak: The Night Stalker" (three episodes) Starring Darren McGavin. Carl Kolchak was a reporter for Chicago's Independent News Service and a trouble magnet for situations involving the supernatural.

"Sliders" (two episodes) Starring Jerry O'Connell ("Crossing Jordan") with John Rhys-Davies. While working on an anti-gravity machine, Quinn Mallory accidentally creates a portal to a parallel universe. Eventually, his friends get stuck traveling among parallel worlds, trying to survive.

"Roar" (four episodes) Starring Heath Ledger. Produced by Shaun Cassidy. A young Irish chieftain fights against Roman encroachment.

"Brilliant But Cancelled: The Documentary" Called "witty, insightful" and a "coup" for TRIO, the documentary which launched the genre and ultimately the broadband channel focuses on critically-acclaimed and beloved television shows that were cancelled before they had a chance to blossom on the air.

OUTZONETV.COM "ASKS A GAY MAN"

Hot off the recent success of its popular OUTzoneTV.com's Sexiest Gay Celebrity 2007 poll in which Oprah's interior design guru Nate Berkus received nearly 500,000 votes to claim the title, the broadband channel signs internet YouTube sensation William Sledd. The 23-year-old Paducah, Kentucky native with a videocamera and a mission joins OUTzoneTV.com as a video blogger. Sledd, one of the most viewed director/bloggers on YouTube, will contribute six videos per month in his ongoing "Ask A Gay Man" series, where he tackles a thorny fashion topic and spins his advice into a few witty minutes of hilarious fun.
