WILL YOU TELL THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH AND "NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH" WITH $500,000 ON THE LINE?
Contestants Reveal Intimate Secrets and Innermost Feelings For Prize Money on New Game Show Coming to FOX
NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH (working title) will put contestants to the test using a lie detector and 21 increasingly personal questions to judge whether or not they are telling the truth for a chance to win $500,000.
The game show sensation has taken Colombia by storm with more than 50 percent of the country watching each night. The buzz-worthy series is also being produced in 23 other countries, including Spain, Brazil, Germany, France, Italy and the UK. On NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH, all contestants have to do is answer 21 questions honestly, as determined by a lie detector, and they can win up to $500,000.
Of course, the questions are easier when the stakes are low but as the prize amount increases, contestants will be challenged to fess up to questions they may normally lie about. The touchier questions could be especially revealing because spouses, relatives or friends will be in the audience watching every result. What secret will someone divulge for hundreds of thousands of dollars? Some sample questions include:
Have you ever lied to get a job?
 Do you like your mother-in-law?
Do you really care about starving children in Africa?
 Ever stolen anything from work?
Have you ever cheated on your spouse?
The premiere date, host and additional show details will be announced soon.
NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH (working title) is produced by Lighthearted Entertainment, Inc. Howard Schultz ("Extreme Makeover") serves as executive producer and Michael Maddocks ("Love Lounge") serves as co-executive producer. The show was created by Schultz.
