CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC has announced it will broadcast the "never-before-seen uncut" version of its limited series "Kingpin" over two consecutive nights - Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30 - via cable's Bravo channel.
Three back-to-back episodes will air each night starting at 9:00/8:00c. The special presentation will contain additional language, violence and sexual content not included in NBC's run of the series. The length of the extended footage is not known.
"Kingpin" stars Yancey Arias as Stanford-educated Miguel Cadena, a savvy businessman who has risen to the threshold of supremacy in his family�s illegal drug cartel as power begins to pass from one generation to the next. Behind the opulent fa�ade of the Cadenas� lifestyle of private jets, yachts and villas stands a massive drug-dealing operation that produces immense quantities of illegal narcotics despite the ongoing family infighting.
