CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- Bravo's new makeover series "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" has landed a premiere date: Tuesday, July 15. Described as a "one-hour guide to building a better straight man," the series will kick off with back-to-back episodes beginning at 10:00/9:00c.
Each installment will feature five gay men, collectively known as "The Fab Five," each with a specific specialty - Ted Allen (food & wine), Kyan Douglas (grooming), Thom Filicia (design), Carson Kressley (fasion) and Jai Rodriguez (culture) - giving a straight male a complete lifestyle makeover.
David Collins and David Metzler created the series, which is produced by Scout Productions and Bravo. 12 episodes have been ordered by the cable channel.
