Comedy Central Not with 'Busey' Any Longer

CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- Comedy Central has pulled the plug on "I'm With Busey," the network's half-hour reality series starring eccentric actor Gary Busey and writer Adam De La Pena.

After premiering to just under 1.0 million viewers on June 17, the series averaged a paltry 654,000 total viewers for its 13-episode run, 428,000 of which fell into the adults 18-49 demographic.

Jim Beiderman and De La Pena were the executive producers of the series.
