CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- UPN is set to finish the February sweeps period as the only broadcast network to experience growth in all the major viewership categories.
With just two days left to factor in, the netlet is primed to finish up 13% in households, up 2% in total viewers, up 13% in adults 25-54 and up 7% in adults 18-49 in year-to-year comparisons. More importantly, those marks present the largest positive growth in each category among all the broadcast networks. Overall UPN is expected to narrowly edge the WB for fifth place in said categories for the February sweeps period.
On the flip side, FOX is set to close the key ratings period with major declines in all the major categories: down 21% in households, down 23% in total viewers, down 26% in adults 25-54 and down 29% in adults 18-49. Those dips also mark the largest by any network in each respective category.
Overall for the period, NBC is primed to take the crown in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 while CBS is set to take the top slot in households and total viewers.
