CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- After a less than spectacular start, FOX is giving viewers a second chance to catch the premiere of "Wonderfalls." The show's pilot, "Wax Lion," will encore this Thursday at 9:00/8:00c.
Friday's opener managed a meager 4.8 million viewers with a 3.4 rating/6 share in households and a 2.0 rating among adults 18-49 according preliminary fast national data. Said scores were about on par with former Friday, 9:00/8:00c time slot holder "Boston Public's" most recent broadcast (households: 3.5/6, adults 18-49: 1.8) and well behind the debuts of last season's Friday casualties "Firefly" (households: 4.1/8, adults 18-49: 3.0) and "John Doe" (households: 6.0/11, adults 18-49: 4.3).
Bryan Fuller, Todd Holland and Tim Minear are the executive producers of "Wonderfalls," a co-production of 20th Century Fox Television and Regency Television.
