CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- After a dreadful showing by comedies "Game Over" and "The Mullets" on Wednesdays, UPN has targeted its new reality series "I'm Still Alive!" for the night.

The series, which uses actual footage and CGI-animated re-creations to tell the true stories of people who've survived life-threatening situations, will premiere Wednesday, April 14 at 9:00/8:00c. "Star Trek: Enterprise" shifts back to 8:00/7:00c that same night, with a rebroadcast of "Azati Prime."

Other compelling and extraordinary stories include a family driving through an inferno of flames 1,000 degrees to escape a raging wildfire; a professional extreme skier who plunges 500 feet down the side of a mountain, and a motorcycle daredevil who misses a 180 foot jump and crashes underneath an enormous flat-bed truck, all miraculously surviving to tell their stories.

Each one-hour episode is filled with riveting, never-before-seen video, along with gripping and inspiring stories of people who have survived incredible, harrowing situations against all odds. Meanwhile in other UPN news, the network has confirmed its Friday movie franchise will return to its schedule on April 16 with the features "Blade" (April 16), "The Specialist" (April 23) and "Driven" (April 30) set to round out the month.
