Yup, More Premiere Dates Shuffle
By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The broadcast networks' fall premiere bingo continued this week as FOX and CBS are the latest to shuffle their respective launch dates.

CBS made the most modest change of the two, bumping its Wednesday comedies "The King of Queens" and "Center of the Universe" to September 29, one week later than originally announced. In their place on September 22, the Eye is set to run "A Dr. Phil Primetime Special: Family First." The two-hour broadcast was previously slated for Wednesday, September 15 at 9:00/8:00c. Neither change will affect the launch of "C.S.I.: New York" on September 22 at 10:00/9:00c.

As for FOX, the network is shuffling several nights of its previously indicated fall slate:

-- "The Complex: Malibu" moves from Mondays at 9:00/8:00c to Fridays at 8:00/7:00c while "Renovate My Family" shifts from dual airings on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00/8:00c to only Mondays at 9:00/8:00c. Both series will lauch with two-hour "previews" on Monday, August 30 and Wednesday, September 1 respectively.

-- The premiere of "The Next Great Champ" has been bumped up to Tuesday, September 7 at 9:00/8:00c. Original episodes will air in that slot for all of September with encores in its previously announced Friday, 9:00/8:00c slot. The series will then permanently move to Fridays at 9:00/8:00c following the network's MLB playoff coverage.

-- Half-hour clipfests "Totally Outrageous Behavior" and "World's Craziest Videos," originally targeted for the Friday at 8:00/7:00c hour, will instead burn off their remaining installments at various times in September.

Both moves were announced via press release on Monday:
