Discovery Channel to Premiere New Phil Keoghan Series, NO OPPORTUNITY WASTED, Sunday, October 3
SILVER SPRING, Md., Sept. 9 -- On Sunday, October 3 from 8-9
PM (ET/PT), Discovery Channel will launch the world premiere original series
NO OPPORTUNITY WASTED (NOW), hosted and created by Phil Keoghan.
The series will premiere on Sundays at 8PM throughout the fall season.
The NOW series is based on the personal philosophy of veteran television
host and adventurer Phil Keoghan (The Amazing Race). It's both simple and
inspirational: Live while you still have the chance. And do it now.
Each week on NOW, Keoghan challenges people to create the once-in-a-
lifetime experiences they've always imagined for themselves. Participants,
selected from a nationwide search, are given a completely clear schedule for
72 hours, and $3,000 in seed money.
After this initial push, however, it is ultimately up to each person to
make their dreams happen. Those selected for the series do not know they have
been chosen until Keoghan literally shows up on their doorstep or walks into
their cubicle at work. After accepting the NOW challenge, their 72 hours
begin on the spot.
