Trever and Chyno Eliminated from UPN's 'The Player'

[via press release from UPN]

TREVER AND CHYNO ELIMINATED FROM UPNS "THE PLAYER"

Trever, From Carlsbad, Calif., and Chyno from, Charlotte, N.C., Are Both Given Their Walking Papers

Trever, from Carlsbad, Calif., and Chyno, from Charlotte, N.C., were the ninth and tenth players eliminated from UPNs new reality series THE PLAYER. In the shows sixth episode, the remaining five self-described "players' are faced with teaching a group of nerds their "player" skills in order to impress Dawn and win the next date.

Trever established himself as the jokester of the house, never taking anything too seriously. Dawn liked him, but wasn't sure about his game. But finally in the latest challenge, he showed her his clever side by teaching his "nerd" some of his skills to win over Dawn. As one of the two winners, he got to go on a romantic date with Dawn at a restaurant overlooking all of Miami. The entire dinner, Dawn was waiting to be impressed by Trever. Unfortunately for him, she felt no sparks and didn't feel the need to keep him around any longer. So, after dinner, without warning, she gave him a peck on the cheek and sent him on his way.

From day one, Chyno marked his territory and quickly became a fan of Dawn's. Although he didn't win many of the challenges, he made his presence felt at the house by setting up appointments with Dawn for intimate bubble baths and surprising her with many gifts. Dawn felt a strong connection with Chyno, but Jinelle and Ananda didn't like how close he was getting to her. They felt he was messing with her head. So, later at the house, Ananda put him to the test and began to flirt heavily with him to see if he would take the bait. Chyno did and his hands were all over Anada in the hot tub. When Dawn found out, she confronted Chyno and eventually chalked it up to the game. But at the elimination ceremony, in a shocking twist, Jinelle and Ananda both nominated Chyno, leaving Dawn no option but to send him home. Dawn, visibly shaken and upset, immediately left the ceremony and went into the house without saying a word to her friends.

THE PLAYER follows a cultural cross-section of guys who find themselves living together in a palatial mansion in South Florida with Dawn and her two beautiful girlfriends. Throughout the hot spots of South Beach and Miami, these self-proclaimed "masters of the opposite sex" will attempt to win over Dawn, with the approval of her girlfriends, as they are thrust into a variety of scenarios with the possibility of sudden death eliminations. By using all of their best dating tactics and interpersonal skills, they must prove themselves worthy of being selected as Dawn's ultimate player and hopefully not hear her dismiss them with the fateful phrase, "Don't hate the player, hate the game."

THE PLAYER airs Wednesdays (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on UPN.
