[via press release from CBS]

"SURVIVOR LIVE: THE INTERNET TALK SHOW" COMING TO CBS.COM

"Survivor" Winner Richard Hatch and New York Television and Radio Personality Chris Booker Will Host The Twice Weekly, One-Hour Webcast Talk Show, Beginning Thursday, Sept. 16

"Survivor" Fans Will Be Able to Interact With Voted Off Castaways

The SURVIVOR fan has spoken. Or will soon speakdirectly to their favorite castaway.

SURVIVOR LIVE: THE INTERNET TALK SHOW, a live, twice weekly, one-hour streaming video talk show, will premiere Thursday, Sept.16 (2:00 PM-3:00 PM, ET) on CBS.com, just hours prior to the debut of SURVIVOR: VANUATUISLANDS OF FIRE on CBS (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT). The webcast will also be seen live each Friday (2:00-3:00 PM, ET).

On the Friday webcast, viewers will be able to call in and speak directly with their favorite castaway.

SURVIVOR LIVE: THE INTERNET TALK SHOW will be hosted by Richard Hatch, winner of the very first "Survivor" and most recently a participant in "Survivor: All Stars," and New York television and radio personality Chris Booker. Booker is a New York correspondent for "Entertainment Tonight" and on-air radio personality.

The Thursday editions of SURVIVOR LIVE: THE INTERNET TALK SHOW will look back at the prior week's events and offer prognostications for that night's televised episode on CBS. The Friday edition will offer analysis of Thursday's episode and provide "Survivor" fans their first opportunity to talk directly with the castaway who got voted off the previous night. The call in phone number is 646-CBS-1000.

The premiere of SURVIVOR LIVE: THE INTERNET TALK SHOW marks the second live streaming video talk show to be broadcast via the Internet on CBS.com. In July, CBS debuted "House Calls: The Big Brother Talk Show," a daily half-hour webcast. "House Calls" is believed to be the first live Internet talk show produced exclusively for a television network.

SURVIVOR LIVE: THE INTERNET TALK SHOW will include utilization of multiple cameras and a specially designed set that will resemble the island of Vanuatu.

"Season after season, SURVIVOR has been the gold standard by which all reality shows are measured, both on-air and online," said David Katz, Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning and Interactive Ventures, CBS Television. "SURVIVOR LIVE is the most innovative interactive experience to date and raises the bar by providing fans their first opportunity to chat directly with each voted off Survivor and personally share their insights and analysis. The tribe has spoken....now it's time for the fans!"

The SURVIVOR website at CBS.com is the most successful official television website in history, recording more than 1.5 billion page views since the premiere of "Survivor" in May 2000. Last May, when CBS broadcast "Survivor: America's Tribal Council," nearly 38 million fans voted at CBS.com for their favorite Survivor and who they wanted to see win $1 million.

SURVIVOR LIVE: THE INTERNET TALK SHOW will be produced by Eye Net Works, a division of CBS.com.
