Both 'Gilmore Girls' and 'Smallville' Deliver Double and Triple Digit Increases in Key Demos Their First Week on ABC Family

Burbank, CA (Oct. 12, 2004) � In their first week (Oct. 4-8) on ABC Family, both "Gilmore Girls" and "Smallville" delivered significant increases in key demos versus year ago time period deliveries. Highlights include:

Gilmore Girls (5:00 � 6:00 PM ET/PT)

� Gilmore Girls increased the time period triple digits across the board in all key demos vs. year-ago.

� Up 125% in HH rating (0.9 v. 0.4)

� Up 112% in Total Viewers (915 vs. 431)

� Up 300% with Adults 18-34 (0.4 vs. 0.1)

� Up 200% with Adults 18-49 (0.3 vs. 0.1)

� Gilmore Girls ranks in the top ten among all basic cable in the time period

Smallville (7:00 � 8:00 PM ET/PT)

� Smallville increased the time period double digits in key demos vs. year-ago.
