CROWN MEDIA/HALLMARK CHANNEL SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH COMCAST CABLE TO PROVIDE VIDEO-ON-DEMAND CONTENT

Crown Media United States/Hallmark Channel, announced today it will provide content from its extensive library to Comcast Cable for use on the cable operator�s ON DEMAND video-on-demand (VOD) service. Crown Media expects to begin supplying content to Comcast in early 2005. The announcement was made by Paul FitzPatrick, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Crown Media Holdings, Inc. and Hallmark Channel.

�This deal provides an opportunity to supplement Hallmark Channel�s linear programming by offering Comcast customers our high-quality content on demand,� stated FitzPatrick. �As VOD usage continues to grow, this is an added value way for Comcast customers to sample and re-visit award winning classics like �Lonesome Dove,� and other popular titles from the Crown Media library.�
