FAMILIES ARE BROUGHT TOGETHER WHEN DR. PHIL JOINS HIS SON JAY McGRAW ON "RENOVATE MY FAMILY" TWO FRIDAYS, NOV. 12 AND NOV. 19, ON FOX

Daytime Talk Show Host and Best-Selling Author Dr. Phil McGraw Makes Guest Appearance

Daytime talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw and his son, Jay, team up to tackle the issues facing the Los Angeles-based Serratelli family on two all-new episodes of RENOVATE MY FAMILY Friday, Nov. 12 and Friday, Nov. 19 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

On Friday, Nov. 12 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), the Serratelli family of six attends a taping of the "Dr. Phil" show for what they think is a consolation gesture for not being selected for RENOVATE MY FAMILY. Host Jay McGraw, who is at the taping undercover, surprises the Serratellis and announces that in fact they have been chosen and construction crews are already working on their house. With the house improvement under way, the life-improvement begins with downhearted fireman Anthony Serratelli. Anthony was injured in the line of duty while fighting a New Year's Eve arson fire and fell through the floor, fracturing his back. After a series of surgeries, Tony is unable to work outside of the house and his wife, Donna, is now the primary provider. Although the four kids contribute as much as possible, it's just not enough for this struggling family.

In the episode airing Friday, Nov. 19 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), Jay and Dr. Phil rebuild the family through intense therapy with Mr. and Mrs. Serratelli while a trainer takes on the four kids. As the stressed-out Serratellis' internal rehabilitation progresses, the RENOVATE MY FAMILY construction team overhauls their entire house, including a poor plumbing system that has damaged bedrooms and living areas.

RENOVATE MY FAMILY is from Rocket Science Laboratories, the producers of TRADING SPOUSES: MEET YOUR NEW MOMMY, MY BIG FAT OBNOXIOUS BOSS, "My Big Fat Obnoxious Fianc" and "Joe Millionaire." Jean-Michel Michenaud, Chris Cowan and Ray Giuliani serve as executive producers. Janelle Fiorito serves as co-executive producer.
