Channel Ranks in the Top 10 for Both Total Day and Prime
Hallmark Channel has further established itself as the destination for the holidays
with its Thanksgiving weekend performance garnering the best ratings in the networks
history. Over the four day weekend, Hallmark Channel aired eleven movies that
delivered a 1.0 HH rating or higher. This includes the premiere of the Hallmark Channel
Original Movie A Boyfriend for Christmas," which aired on Saturday November 27th (9-
11 p.m.), delivering a 2.7 HH Rating with 1,751,000 households, becoming the most
watched telecast in the networks history. It was viewed by more than 3.5 million
unduplicated viewers, ranking #1 in the time period with Adults 25-54 Rating and
Women 25-54 Rating. Moreover, among households it was the days highest rated adsupported
cable movie. With this breakout performance of A Boyfriend for Christmas,
Saturday, November 27th, became the highest rated day in Hallmark Channel history
(1.2 HH Rating and 760,000 homes). The second highest rated day was the day after,
Sunday, November 28th. The channels Sunday average was a 1.0 HH rating and

Only one week before, (Saturday, November 20th, 9-11 p.m.) another Hallmark
Channel Original Movie, Loves Enduring Promise," had become the channels most

Thanksgiving weekend, Loves Enduring Promise proudly becomes the 2nd most

making it the highest rated week ever for the network. Hallmark Channel averaged a .8
Total Day HH rating (#9 among all ad-supported cable networks), and a 1.2 Prime Time
