SILVER SPRING, Md., Jan. 13 -- Meet Dr. G, Chief Medical Examiner. During her free time, she's the devoted wife and mother of two young boys, but during days and many evenings and weekends, she spends her time solving medical mysteries as one of the nation's leading forensic pathologists.

Discovery Health Channel's highly acclaimed series profiles the profession of Dr. G -- formally known as Dr. Jan Garavaglia -- in DR. G: MEDICAL EXAMINER, a series that premiered in July and continues to air regularly on Fridays at 9 PM ET/PT. New episodes will premiere Friday, January 28 at 9 PM ET/PT.

In this compelling series, Dr. G explains to viewers how people can die suddenly and unexpectedly. She uses cutting-edge forensic science and technology to solve the mysteries of life and death.
