NEW YORK -- February 4, 2005 - On Saturday, February 26, Bravo will present the second annual red carpet arrival show immediately preceding this year's broadcast of the 2005 IFP Independent Spirit Awards. This one-hour special will give viewers a first-hand look at the excitement, flavor and style of the film world's hippest awards show. Shot live to tape, "Red Carpet Arrivals: The IFP Independent Spirit Awards" will premiere from 9:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, and will be immediately followed by Bravo's airing of the 2005 IFP Independent Spirit Awards from 10:00 p.m. 12:00 a.m. ET/PT.

Hosted by "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy's" fashion guru Carson Kressley, viewers can expect this arrival special to mirror the unconventional tone of the awards themselves. The broadcast will feature interviews with many of this year's nominees, presenters and honorees and, of course, spotlight celebrity fashions unique to filmdom's only daytime awards show held at the beach. This year's nominees include Jamie Foxx, Liam Neeson, Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgwick, Paul Giamatti, Jeff Bridges, Virginia Madsen, Cate Blanchett, Thomas Haden-Church and Aidan Quinn.

Hosted this year by Samuel L. Jackson, the Independent Spirit Awards are produced by IFP/Los Angeles and is a celebration honoring films and filmmakers that dare to challenge the status quo.
