NBC UNIVERSAL DOMESTIC TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION IS TEAMING UP WITH FOUNTAIN MOBILE FOR AN UNPRECEDENTED TEXT MESSAGING CAMPAIGN

Watch-And-Win Contests Will Drive Viewers to "Maury," "The Jerry Springer Show" and "Blind Date"

WWE To Give Jerry Springer Fans VIP Packages to WrestleMania 21; Winners to go Behind-the-Scenes With Maury Povich and "Blind Date" Prizes Include Winter Getaway to Miami

Universal City, CA. -- February 7, 2005 -- NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution is teaming up with Fountain Mobile, North America's leading mobile marketing and production company for three ground-breaking watch-and-win text messaging contests that will drive viewers to hit series "Maury," "The Jerry Springer Show" and "Blind Date" during February sweeps, it was announced today by Betsy Bergman, Vice President, Marketing, NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.

With Fountain Mobile's technology platform, the watch-and-win promotion will enable more than 100 million wireless U.S. customers, including Verizon Wireless, Cingular Wireless (including AT&T customers), Nextel Communications, Boost and T-Mobile subscribers an opportunity to win hundreds of great prizes.

Starting February 7, viewers with two-way SMS-enabled phones can enter the contest via their mobile phone by text messaging their 5-digit zip codes to the specialized short code for each show: MAURY (62879) for "Maury", JTEXT (58398) for "The Jerry Springer Show" and ROGER (76437) for "Blind Date." Participants will receive local tune-in information along with a watch-and-win question of the day. Those who answer the questions correctly will qualify for a chance to win daily prizes, as well as grand prizes for each show.

"This unprecedented text messaging campaign that highlights three of our hit programs is a fabulous way for us to reach out to young viewers," says NBC Universal's Bergman. "Teaming up with Fountain Mobile is allowing us to reach millions of text message subscribers across the country and will actually allow us to reach viewers on a market-by-market basis and give them pertinent tune-in information about our programs."

"Supporting three pre-recorded, nationally syndicated shows airing in different markets at different times where the 'right' message needs to be delivered to the 'right' viewer at the 'right' time created some unique requirements," said Peter Tilles Co-Managing Director of Fountain Mobile.

"With the launching of the watch-and-win text programs for NBC Universal, Fountain Mobile is firmly positioned as the leading mobile marketing and production company in the United States that, among other things, can bring innovative and interactive mobile programs in support of television programming," said Fountain Mobile's Co-Managing Director Roland Chemtob.

For "The Jerry Springer Show" portion of the contest, participants will have an opportunity to win daily WWE-themed prizes and four weekly grand prize packages to WrestleMania 21 on April 3. The grand prize winners and a guest will be flown to Los Angeles for four days of WWE fun that includes a thousand dollars in expense money, as well as tickets to the WWE Superstar Challenge at The House of Blues on April 1 and to WrestleMania 21.

"Maury" fans who correctly text in answers to the watch and win contest will be given the opportunity to win numerous daily prizes and four weekly grand prizes.

The grand prizes include trips for two to New York City and a VIP experience at Maury. And "Blind Date" contestants will have the opportunity to win daily prizes and a grand prize trip for two to Miami, Fl.
