ROCK GUITARIST DAVE NAVARRO (JANE'S ADDICTION, THE RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS) AND BROOKE BURKE ("WILD ON") TO HOST MARK BURNETT'S "ROCK STAR: INXS" ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

The New CBS Reality Series To Premiere Monday, July 11, And Will Also Air On Tuesdays And Wednesdays

Celebrated rock guitarist Dave Navarro (formerly of Jane's Addiction and The Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Brooke Burke ("Wild On") are set to host ROCK STAR: INXS, beginning with a special one hour premiere on Monday, July 11 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), followed by a one-hour broadcast on Tuesday, July 12 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) and a half-hour edition on Wednesday, July 13 (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Beginning the following week, ROCK STAR: INXS will be seen regularly on Mondays (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT), Tuesdays (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) and Wednesdays (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT).

Dave Navarro's six-string skills, best described as a merger between heavy metal, psychedelia and modern rock, have led him to become one of alternative's first true guitar heroes. He is a former member of both Jane's Addiction and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. He has also worked with Nine Inch Nails, Christina Aguilera, Puffy, Usher, Jay Z, Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey. In 2004, Navarro's wedding to Carmen Electra was documented as an MTV series, "Til Death Do Us Part." That same year, Navarro also released a book titled Don't Try This At Home.

Brooke Burke is recognized worldwide as the tour guide and adrenaline junkie for the travel series "Wild On," and for her top-selling swimsuit calendars. She has graced numerous magazine covers and is regularly ranked in men's magazines as one of the hottest women in the world today. She was most recently honored with a Spike TV video game award for "Best Female Performance" for her work as Rachel Teller in Electronic Arts' street racing video game, "Need For Speed: Underground 2." She currently appears in a new Burger King commercial directed by famed photographer David LaChapelle. She has also launched her own line of beachwear called "Barely Brooke."

ROCK STAR: INXS, from "Survivor" executive producer Mark Burnett, combines the world of rock music with relationship-style unscripted drama, performance competition and a weekly contestant elimination. The last singer standing will become the lead singer of the internationally renowned band INXS and embark on a worldwide concert tour with the band and be part of the group's new album.

The 15 performers will be housed together in a Hollywood Hills home. Each week will feature taped reality segments focusing on the performers' relationships and activities (Monday episodes), along with a performance competition (Tuesday) and weekly results (Wednesday).

The series is produced by Mark Burnett Productions. Mark Burnett, David Goffin, ("American Idol") Lisa Hennessy ("Eco-Challenge") and INXS managers David Edwards and Michael Murchison are executive producers. Conrad Riggs is co-executive producer.
