FOX Announces Nominees for "The 2005 Teen Choice Awards"

FOX ANNOUNCES NOMINEES FOR "THE 2005 TEEN CHOICE AWARDS"

Jessica Simpson, Ashton Kutcher, Gwen Stefani, THE O.C. and Alicia Keys Receive Multiple Nominations TEEN PEOPLE is the Official Balloting Partner

FOX and TEEN PEOPLE have opened the voting polls for teens ages 13 through 19 for THE 2005 TEEN CHOICE AWARDS. From now until Thursday, Aug. 4, voters can log on exclusively to http://www.teenpeople.com/teenchoice to cast their ballots for the hottest celebrities in film, television, music, sports and fashion for THE 2005 TEEN CHOICE AWARDS, which airs Tuesday, Aug. 16 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. TEEN PEOPLE is the exclusive voting partner for THE 2005 TEEN CHOICE AWARDS.

The coveted Teen Choice surfboard will be presented to the celebrities deemed the coolest by teens across the country. Categories include Choice Actor/Actress, Choice Date Movie, Choice TV Sidekick, Choice Reality Show, Choice Rap Artist and Choice Hottie.

As the polls heat up over the summer, "Wave Two" of the ballot will launch on June 16, followed by "Wave Three" on July 12. Teens can continue to vote on Waves one, two and three through Thursday, Aug.4.
