Universal City, CA., June 6, 2005 -- NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution has renewed "Blind Date" for its 7th season and three of its nationally syndicated weekend series, "The Wall Street Journal Report with Maria Bartiromo," "The Chris Matthews Show" and "The George Michael Sports Machine," it was announced today by NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution President Barry Wallach.

"All four of these shows have something unique to offer local stations and advertisers," says Wallach, "Whether it be comedy, sports, politics, business and finance, we are proud of the breadth of programming we have to offer the marketplace."

The daily dating reality show "Blind Date," has been sold in more than 92% of the U.S. for its 7th season in national syndication.

In addition, three of NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution's weekend shows have been renewed for the 05'/06' season; "The Wall Street Journal Report with Maria Bartiromo" is returning for its second season, sold in more than 92% of the U.S, "The Chris Matthews Show" returns for a forth season in national syndication, sold in over 95% of the country and the longest-running sports wrap-up show on broadcast television, "The George Michael Sports Machine," will be coming back for its 22nd season and is sold in more than 90% of the U.S.

Since its debut in 1999, "Blind Date" has built a broad national audience by blending its clever commentary and the now famous "Thought Bubbles," charismatic host Roger Lodge and attractive, fun, and sometimes wacky singles to make the most entertaining half-hour of programming in syndication. "Blind Date" is executive produced by Gold Coast Television Entertainment's David Garfinkle and Jay Renfroe. Thomas Klein also serves as executive producer and Rob Dames and Peter Karlin are co-executive producers.

"The Wall Street Journal Report with Maria Bartiromo," is a half-hour weekly show that delivers the last word in financial information and a first look in to the business week ahead. The show capitalizes on the unparalleled worldwide resources of the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalism of The Wall Street Journal along with Maria Bartiromo's experience, business insight and extraordinary range of contacts at the highest levels of business and politics throughout the world. Each week Maria discusses timely, news-making financial issues and conducts interviews with top executives, government leaders, regulators and top money managers. The series is produced by CNBC.

"The Chris Matthews Show" is a half-hour weekend public affairs roundtable that examines the week's most compelling topics in the news. From the most controversial political issues to general interest topics, "The Chris Matthews Show" brings viewers up close and behind the scenes of the top stories of the week. Every episode provides viewers with information that they won't be able to get elsewhere and the opportunity to take away a different perspective on the latest news stories.
