Hfpa Announces Timetable Leading Up to Telecast of 63rd Annual Golden Globe Awards on Nbc

HFPA ANNOUNCES TIMETABLE LEADING UP TO TELECAST OF 63rd ANNUAL GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS ON NBC

BURBANK, Calif. -- August 4, 2005 -� Philip Berk, President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, announced the timetable for The 63rd Annual Golden Globe Awards to be telecast Monday, January 16, 2006 from 8-11 p.m. (ET) live from the Beverly Hilton on NBC.

"We look forward to another exciting celebration of honoring excellence in the entertainment industry," said Berk.

Thursday , October 20, 2005 Final screening date for Television entries

Friday, October 21, 2005 Final date for press conferences for Television entries

Friday, November 4, 2005 Deadline for submission of Golden Globe entry forms

Wednesday, November 16, 2005 9 a.m. (PT)Cecil B. DeMille/Miss Golden Globe Announcement

Friday, December 2, 2005 Deadline for nomination ballots to be mailed by Ernst &Young to all HFPA members

Tuesday, December 6, 2005 Final screening date for Motion Pictures

Saturday, December 10, 2005 Deadline for receipt by Ernst & Young of nomination ballots

Tuesday, December 13, 2005 5:00 a.m. (PT) Nomination announcement of the 63rd Annual Golden Globe Awards

Monday, January 16, 2006 Presentation of The 63rd Annual Golden Globe Awards.Live telecast on NBC Television at 8 p.m. ET

The Golden Globe Awards will be seen in more than 150 countries worldwide and is one of the few awards ceremonies that span both television and motion picture achievements. The special will be produced by dick clark productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
