Five-Time Emmy(R) Award Winner John Larroquette Discovers Love Is a Killer in 'Mcbride'

[via press release from The Hallmark Channel]

FIVE-TIME EMMY AWARD WINNER JOHN LARROQUETTE DISCOVERS LOVE IS A KILLER IN McBRIDE

Sixth Installment of Franchise, Anybody Here Murder Marty, Premieres Sunday August 28

A celebration turns into an investigation when a famous talk show host turns up dead in McBride. Five-time Emmy Award winner John Larroquette returns as toughminded, tender-hearted cop-turned-attorney, Mike McBride in the sixth installment of the Hallmark Channel Mystery Movie franchise, McBride, Anybody Here Murder Marty, which premieres Sunday, August 28 (7/6c).

McBride also stars Marta DuBois (L.A. Law) as Detective Sgt. Roberta Hansen and Matt Lutz (Murder Without Conviction) as Phil Newberry. DuBois stars as Detective Sgt. Roberta Hansen, a no-nonsense plainclothes police detective in an onagain, off-again, personal relationship with McBride. Matt Lutz stars as Phil Newberry, an eager young attorney who quits his ill-suited job as a public defender to work for his role model and reluctant mentor, McBride.

Dean Hargrove, one of televisions most prolific program producers and the Emmy Award-winning executive producer of Columbo, created McBride.

McBride revolves around one of televisions most compelling new characters a rough-around-the-edges type whose lifestyle belies a razor sharp mind and dogged determination to uncover the truth. McBride only takes the hardest cases, has a soft spot for the underdog, and possesses a unique ability to eliminate potential suspects through flashbacks that place him squarely in the scene of the crime.

In Anybody Here Murder Marty, famed talk show host Marty Caine is found dead shortly after his life is threatened in front of millions of viewers during the taping of his 1000th show. Called to defend the murder suspect, McBride discovers that the women Marty loved can be real killers!

McBride is a Hallmark Entertainment presentation. Robert Halmi, Jr. and Larry Levinson are executive producers. Dean Hargrove is creator and executive producer. Nick Lombardo, Amy Goldberg and Michael Moran are co-executive producers. Brian J. Gordon and Erik Olson are producers. The Hallmark Channel Mystery Movie is an Alpine Medien Production in association with Larry Levinson Productions.
