MICHELLE BROOKE AND CRAIG DEROSA ARE ELIMINATED FROM "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE"

COMPETITION HEATS UP AS REMAINING 12 FINALISTS PERFORM Two More Finalists to be Eliminated Wednesday, Sept. 7, on FOX

When America's vote was revealed last night, Michelle Brooke and Craig DeRosa were eliminated from the competition on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. In the partner dance round, Brooke performed the quickstep with Nick Lazzarini, while DeRosa performed hip-hop with Melody Lacayanga. Tune in next week to see who dances on, and who goes home Wednesday, Sept. 7 (8:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Brooke is from Brooklyn, NY. She is trained in ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, belly dancing and tap. A dance teacher, she loves her work and hopes to create her own form of dance. Last week, choreographer/judge Dan Karaty said of Brooke's performance: "There's nothing dynamic happening on stage."

DeRosa currently lives in Mt. Sinai, NY. He has worked as a dance teacher and choreographer at Michelle Ferraro's Dance U.S.A. for the past three years. He considers his personal dance style as contemporary/lyrical and hopes to see dancers get the recognition they deserve. Judge Nigel Lythgoe said, "This style doesn't suit you."

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE was created by Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe and comes from 19 Entertainment Ltd. and dick clark productions. It is executive-produced by Simon Fuller, Nigel Lythgoe and Allen Shapiro.
