Meah from Brooklyn, N.Y. Is Next to Be Eliminated from the Competition, on "R U the Girl with T-Boz & Chilli"
[via press release from UPN]

MEAH FROM BROOKLYN, N.Y. IS NEXT TO BE ELIMINATED FROM THE COMPETITION, ON "R U THE GIRL WITH T-BOZ & CHILLI"

In the latest challenge, the three remaining performers each had to create a song reflecting their experiences during the competition and perform at T-Boz's birthday party for TLC's friends and family. Also, in order to get to know the finalists better, T-Boz & Chilli spent some one-on-one time with each girl. But this elimination proved overwhelming for the pop superstars as they sent Meah home from the competition.

From the beginning, T-Boz & Chilli were skeptical of Meah as she appeared to be overconfident, but after spending time with her, they grew to really like her. During the challenge, T-Boz & Chilli were really impressed with all three girls and their performances. But, after an extremely lengthy deliberation, they decided to eliminate Meah as they felt the other two finalists, Mirrah and O'so Krispie, had more of the talents that the pop superstars were looking for. The good-byes were heartbreaking and emotional as Meah went on her way. Now, only two finalists remain.

Three years after losing their bandmate Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes in a tragic car accident, T-Boz & Chilli of TLC are ready for a new beginning for themselves and their fans. Blending comedy and reality, these singing sensations set out on a journey filled with emotion, comedy, surprises and special guests to look for that one lucky and talented girl who just might be the perfect fit. For nine weeks, the girls work closely with the diverse group of aspiring female performers to find the one with the right chemistry who can join them on their next great escapade, which will culminate in a concert performance during a live finale to air on UPN.

R U THE GIRL WITH T-BOZ & CHILLI is produced by The Jay and Tony Show, in association with Fox Television Studios. The executive producers are Jay Blumenfield & Anthony Marsh, Chilli & Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins. Bill Diggins and Laurie Girion ("Last Comic Standing") are co-executive producers.

R U THE GIRL WITH T-BOZ & CHILLI airs Wednesdays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on UPN.
