TOM BROKAW, THE LATE PETER JENNINGS AND DAN RATHER WILL BE HONORED ON "THE 57TH ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS," HOSTED BY ELLEN DeGENERES LIVE FROM THE SHRINE AUDITORIUM IN LOS ANGELES, SEPT. 18 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

CANDICE BERGEN, BILLY CRYSTAL, CHARLES S. DUTTON, MICHAEL J. FOX, LISA KUDROW AND JOHN TRAVOLTA WILL REMEMBER THEIR OWN EMMY WINS

News anchormen Tom Brokaw, the late Peter Jennings and Dan Rather will be honored in a special tribute on THE 57TH ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS, hosted by Ellen DeGeneres live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Sunday, Sept. 18 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Clips featuring the three newsmen at work will illustrate the manner in which they influenced and impacted viewers as they told their audiences what was happening in the news each night. They will also be shown in the field covering the world's biggest news stories and events, while often risking their own lives to bring information to the public.

Candice Bergen, Billy Crystal, Charles S. Dutton, Michael J. Fox, Lisa Kudrow and John Travolta are among the Emmy Award winners to remember the night they won their own Emmys. Bergen reflects on the political climate and Dan Quayle's "family values" at the time she won one of her Emmy Awards for "Murphy Brown"; Crystal will talk about the deep meaning of an Emmy Award win; Dutton remembers that on the way to up collect his Emmy, he thought about the first award he ever won as the actor and director of a talent show at the Maryland State Penitentiary where he was an inmate, and Travolta remembers accepting an Emmy on behalf of his first love, Diana Hyland, who passed away prior to that year's Emmy Awards. Michael J. Fox and Lisa Kudrow also have memories to share.

Presenters include Mischa Barton, Rachel Bilson, Halle Berry, Zack Braff, Jon Cryer, Geena Davis, Patrick Dempsey, Charles S. Dutton, Craig Ferguson, Matthew Fox, Adrian Grenier, Alyson Hannigan, Mariska Hargitay, Hugh Laurie, Jason Lee, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Debra Messing, Chris O'Donnell, William Petersen, Ellen Pompeo, Kyra Sedgwick, Charlie Sheen, Jimmy Smits, James Spader, Jon Stewart, Kiefer Sutherland, Quentin Tarantino and Sela Ward. THE 57TH ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS is being produced by Ken Ehrlich Productions and is presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Ken Ehrlich is the executive producer; Michael B. Seligman and Renato Basile are the producers; Danette Herman is the coordinating producer and executive in charge of talent. Bruce Gowers will direct.
