ABC TELEVISION NETWORK SCORES SIX EMMY WINS SUNDAY NIGHT, MORE THAN ANY OTHER BROADCAST NETWORK, BRINGING ABC'S EMMY TOTAL TO A BROADCAST NETWORK-TOPPING 16

"Lost" Named Outstanding Drama Series and J.J. Abrams Receives Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series;

"Desperate Housewives'" Felicity Huffman Wins First Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and Charles McDougall Wins Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series;

"Boston Legal's" James Spader Receives Second Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and William Shatner Captures Second for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama;

"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" Previously Won Outstanding Reality Program Award at Creative Arts Emmys

The ABC Television Network won six Emmys at Sunday night's 57th annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony, more than any other broadcast network. These wins bring ABC to a broadcast network-topping total of 16, including the network's previous 10 wins at the Creative Arts Emmys.

ABC secured major wins for Outstanding Drama Series for "Lost," Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for Felicity Huffman for her work on "Desperate Housewives," Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for James Spader and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for William Shatner, both of "Boston Legal."

In addition to the Outstanding Drama Series award, "Lost" co-creator J.J. Abrams also received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series.
