Michael J. Fox is well known for his stardom as Alex P. Keaton on the hit sitcom, "Family Ties." After being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease during his run on the sitcom "Spin City", Fox launched the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research in May of 2000, and continues to raise awareness on a global scale.
