Star-Studded Roster Expands for TBS�s Two-Hour Comedy Extravaganza EARTH TO AMERICA!

Cedric The Entertainer, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tim McGraw, Robin Williams Among Celebrities to Join Comedy Extravaganza

TBS�s EARTH TO AMERICA!, the two-hour comedy extravaganza featuring top Hollywood talent in an evening of comedy to raise awareness of issues concerning the environment, has added Cedric The Entertainer, Stephen Colbert, Rob Corddry, Al Franken, Christopher Guest, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Kevin Nealon, Wanda Sykes, Robin Williams, the cast of Avenue Q and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog to the list of celebrities scheduled to appear on the telecast, it was announced today. Grammy-winning superstar Tim McGraw will perform at the event. They join an already star-studded line-up including Jack Black, Larry David, Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Ferrell, Tom Hanks, Dustin Hoffman, Steve Martin, Ray Romano, Martin Short and Ben Stiller. EARTH TO AMERICA! will be taped at The Comedy Festival at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Nov. 17, for telecast Sunday, Nov. 20, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).

EARTH TO AMERICA! will feature stand-up comedy, videotaped vignettes and comedy sketches as well as musical performances. The special comes to TBS from The Comedy Festival and creator Laurie David, who will also serve as an executive producer with Pat Tourk Lee, John Moffitt and Bob Crestani. An all-star writing team has also been assembled, including Eli Attie (The West Wing); Scott Carter (Real Time with Bill Maher); Donick Cary (The Simpsons and Late Night with David Letterman); Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm); Scott Jacobson, Jason Reich and Steve Bodow (The Daily Show with Jon Stewart); Chris Kelly (Real Time with Bill Maher); Adam McKay (Anchorman); George Meyer (The Simpsons); Jessie Nelson (I Am Sam); Phil Rosenthal (Everybody Loves Raymond); Steve Skrovan (Everybody Loves Raymond); and Mike White (School of Rock).

In addition to the comedy, the show will feature environmental heroes, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Senator John McCain and a special appearance by mayors from across America. Earth to America! was created in 2000 by Laurie David as a fundraiser in Los Angeles for the Natural Resources Defense Council. Titled Earth to LA!, it has raised over 5 million since it began.

EARTH TO AMERICA! is part of The Comedy Festival, taking place Nov. 17-19 in Las Vegas and featuring more than 50 performances, events and screenings. HBO and AEG Live present The Comedy Festival and TBS serves as the title sponsor. The Comedy Festival will be held in nine performance venues, all housed at Caesars Palace and the Flamingo Las Vegas, with high-profile events at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace and The Flamingo Showroom. It will bring together the biggest stars and cutting-edge comedy talent in a broad range of programming, from star-level performances and special events to stand-up, sketch comedy and film.
