CBS Dominates Thursday In All Key Measures

CBS added another first to its dominating Thursday resume as WITHOUT A TRACE topped "ER" in both adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 for the first time ever, according to preliminary Nielsen affiliate ratings for Oct. 6.

WITHOUT A TRACE won its time period in households (13.8/22), viewers (21.54m), adults 25-54 (8.5/20), adults 18-49 (7.0/18) and adults 18-34 (5.2/15).

This is the first time WITHOUT A TRACE beat "ER" in adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 in head-to-head first run episodes. WITHOUT A TRACE beat "ER" by +50% in households (vs. 9.2/15), +4% in adults 18-34 (vs. 5.0/14), +13% in adults 18-49 (vs. 6.2/16), +18% in adults 25-54 (vs. 7.2/17) and by +7.59m viewers (vs. 13.95m, +54%).

Compared to last week's season premiere, WITHOUT A TRACE was up +3% in viewers (from 20.98m), +13% in adults 18-34 (from 4.6/14), +9% in adults 18-49 (from 6.4/17) and +8% in adults 25-54 (from 7.9/19). This is WITHOUT A TRACE's best delivery in viewers, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, since 3/10/05.

SURVIVOR: GUATEMALA won its time period with a 10.7/17 with 17.88m viewers, 4.6/15 in adults 18-34, 6.2/17 in adults 18-49 and 7.5/19 in adults 25-54. Compared to last week's broadcast, SURVIVOR was up +1% in households (from 10.6/17), +3% in viewers (from 17.29m), +15% in adults 18-34 (from 4.0/12), +9% in adults 18-49 (from 5.7/16) and +4% in adults 25-54 (from 7.2/18). This is the best delivery for SURVIVOR: GUATEMALA since the first episode on 9/15/05.

CSI finished first in households (17.3/26), viewers (27.95m), adults 25-54 (11.7/26), adults 18-49 (9.4/23) and adults 18-34 (7.5/21) and again was the night's most watched and highest rated program in households, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 of the night. Compared to last week's delivery, CSI was up +3% in adults 18-34 (from 7.3/20) and +2% in adults 25-54 (from 11.5/26), even in adults 18-49.

CBS easily won the night in all key measures, placing first in households (14.0/22), viewers (22.46m), adults 25-54 (9.2/22), adults 18-49 (7.5/19) and adults 18-34 (5.8/17). CBS won every half-hour in households, viewers, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

CBS added another first to its dominating Thursday resume as WITHOUT A TRACE topped "ER" in both adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 for the first time ever, according to final national Nielsen ratings for Oct. 6.

WITHOUT A TRACE won its time period in households (13.7/22), viewers (21.25m), adults 25-54 (8.3/19), adults 18-49 (6.8/17) and adults 18-34 (5.1/15).

This is the first time WITHOUT A TRACE beat "ER" in adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 in head-to-head first run episodes. WITHOUT A TRACE beat "ER" by +47% in households (vs. 9.3/15), +2% in adults 18-34 (vs. 5.0/15), +8% in adults 18-49 (vs. 6.3/16), +14% in adults 25-54 (vs. 7.3/17) and by +7.10m viewers (vs. 14.15m, +50%).

Compared to last week's season premiere, WITHOUT A TRACE was up +1% in viewers (from 20.98m), +11% in adults 18-34 (from 4.6/14), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 6.4/17) and +5% in adults 25-54 (from 7.9/19).

SURVIVOR: GUATEMALA won its time period with a 10.8/17 with 17.92m viewers, 4.6/14 in adults 18-34, 6.3/17 in adults 18-49 and 7.6/19 in adults 25-54. Compared to last week's broadcast, SURVIVOR was up +2% in households (from 10.6/17), +4% in viewers (from 17.29m), +15% in adults 18-34 (from 4.0/12), +11% in adults 18-49 (from 5.7/16) and +6% in adults 25-54 (from 7.2/18). This is the best delivery for SURVIVOR: GUATEMALA since the first episode on 9/15/05.

CSI finished first in households (17.8/27), viewers (28.85m), adults 25-54 (12.2/27), adults 18-49 (9.8/24) and adults 18-34 (7.6/21) and again was the night's most watched and highest rated program in households, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 of the night. Compared to last week's delivery, CSI was up +2% in households (from 17.4/26), +3% in viewers (from 28.00m), +4% in both adults 18-34 (from 7.3/20) and adults 18-49 (from 9.4/23) and +6% in adults 25-54 (from 11.5/26).

CSI beat NBC, ABC and FOX combined from 9:00-10:00PM by +12% in households (vs. 15.9/25), +20% in viewers (vs. 24.03m), +14% in adults 25-54 (vs. 10.7/24), +4% in adults 18-49 (vs. 9.4/23) and nearly topping the three networks combined in adults 18-34 (7.6/21 vs. 7.8/22).

CBS easily won the night in all key measures, placing first in households (14.1/22), viewers (22.72m), adults 25-54 (9.4/22), adults 18-49 (7.7/20) and adults 18-34 (5.8/17). CBS topped second ranked NBC by its largest margin of victory this season in households (+7.0 rating points), adults 25-54 (+4.0), adults 18-49 (+3.0), adults 18-34 (+1.9) and viewers (+12.08m). CBS won every half-hour in households, viewers, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.
