Witness the True Spirit of the Holiday Season as WE: Women's Entertainment Presents Katrina Wedding: A Second Chance December 16 at 10:00pm ET

Bridal Shop Owner and The Apprentice 2 Finalist, Sandy Ferreira, To Host the 1-hour special

NEW YORK, NY, NOVEMBER 1, 2005 - WE: Women's Entertainment will document the real life caring and generosity of the holiday season with the premiere of the Katrina Wedding: A Second Chance on Friday, December 16 at 10:00pm ET. Bridal shop owner and The Apprentice 2 finalist, Sandy Ferreira, will host this 1-hour original special, using her experience to give two couples the wedding they so rightfully deserve.

When Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast many engaged couples who were knee deep in catering decisions and seating charts were now waste deep in water and drowning in the emotional devastation of what had just occurred. Their fantasy Fall weddings were shattered by the reality of destroyed wedding halls, displaced vendors, non-existent transportation and a wedding date as uncertain as their future. Or so they thought...

This Holiday season, WE: Women's Entertainment invites viewers to join master wedding planner, Sandy Ferreira, as she surprises two Gulf Coast couples, who lost everything to Katrina, with the dream wedding they had originally envisioned. Sandy and her team of experts will work tirelessly and passionately to turn each couples wedding dreams into reality. Complete with a full guest list and all the trimmings, the nuptials once lost to the sea will be salvaged by the caring and generosity of strangers.
