The Boondocks Scores Best Series Premiere in Adult Swim�s Five-Year History

Sunday, Nov. 6, 11 p.m. Debut Garners 1,605,000 Different Viewers 18+

The Boondocks Drives Adult Swim to #1 Ranking among Ad-Supported Basic Cable for Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-24 Total Day Delivery

Setting all-new Adult Swim delivery records for a series premiere, The Boondocks (Sunday, Nov. 6, 11 p.m. ET/PT), from comic artist and series creator Aaron McGruder, scored the late-night service�s highest new series delivery and ratings ever among adults 18-34, adults 18-24, men 18-34, men 18-24 and women 18-24. A total of 1,605,000 unduplicated persons 18+ tuned into the Sunday-night premiere, helping Adult Swim once more claim the #1 ranking for the week among all ad-supported basic cable for total day delivery of adults 18-34, adults 18-24 (32 weeks running) and men 18-24 (32 weeks running). Despite heavy competition from ESPN�s football programming, The Boondocks ranked #19 for the week among all ad-supported basic cable programs for adults 18-34 delivery and #8 with adults 18-24 delivery.

The Boondocks (Sunday, 11 p.m.)

- Adults 18-34 delivery totaled 879,000 viewers and a 1.3 rating

- Adults 18-24 delivery totaled 580,000 viewers and a 2.1 rating

- Men 18-34 delivery totaled 592,000 viewers and a 1.8 rating

- Men 18-24 delivery totaled 399,000 viewers and a 2.8 rating

- Women 18-24 delivery totaled 181,000 viewers and a 1.3 rating

ADULT SWIM (Monday-Thursday, Saturday, 11 p.m.-6 a.m., Sunday, 10 p.m.-6 a.m.)

- Adults 18-34 delivery totaled 361,000 and an 0.5 rating

- Adults 18-24 delivery totaled 211,000 and an 0.8 rating

- Men 18-34 delivery totaled 238,000 and an 0.7 rating

- Men 18-24 delivery totaled 150,000 and a 1.1 rating

- Adults 18-49 delivery totaled 468,000 and an 0.4 rating

The Boondocks tells the story of Huey and Riley, two kids who move from Chicago�s South Side to the suburbs with their Granddad, Robert Jebediah Freeman. In moving to the quiet and safety of �The Boondocks��a.k.a. suburban Woodcrest�it�s Granddad�s hope that he can ignore his rambunctious grandkids and enjoy the fourth quarter of his life in peace. But Huey, a 10-year-old leftist revolutionary, and his 8-year-old misfit brother Riley don�t adapt to the new environment as well as expected. Although the boys torture each other and provoke the neighborhood, they are no match for Granddad, who is eccentric even by �crazy-ass-old-black-man� standards.
