"NUMB3RS" GOES VEGAS-STYLE WHEN POKER PRO ANNIE DUKE AND AUTHOR OF BRINGING DOWN THE HOUSE, BEN MEZRICH, APPEAR IN THE JAN. 13 EPISODE
LOS ANGELES, Dec. 20 -- Professional poker player Annie Duke and author of Bringing Down the House, Ben Mezrich, both make guest appearances on NUMB3RS, Friday, Jan. 13 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
When the FBI is called to investigate a murder at a Los Angeles card club, it leads the agents to unravel a complicated card counting scheme involving a group of college students whose lives may now be at risk. Annie Duke makes an appearance as a blackjack dealer at the card club and Ben Mezrich appears as a blackjack player. His bestselling book, Bringing Down the House, tells the true story of the MIT students who took Vegas casinos for millions in the late 1990s. Jeff Ma and Matt Lau, two former MIT students who were involved in the scam, also appear as blackjack players in the episode.
