TBS and Rhino Records Crack Up the Jukebox with TBS TUNES: FUN TRACKS WISECRACKS

Collection of Power Pop to Tickle the Funny Bone Available from Rhino Records Jan. 10

TBS, televisions very funny network, and Rhino Records, the preeminent purveyor of hilarious harmonies, have teamed up for a comedy-rock compilation guaranteed to rock the funny bone. TBS TUNES: FUN TRACKS WISECRACKS, a new CD from Rhino Records, will be available Jan. 10 at regular retail outlets and at www.rhino.com and www.tbs.com for a suggested list price of $18.98.

Through the use of popular music, specifically songs with a sense of humor, this dynamic compilation allows us to expand TBSs position as a comedy brand, said Jennifer Dorian, senior vice president, branding and business development for TBS and TNT. We are proud to be working with Rhino Records as we find new ways reach comedy lovers.

TBS TUNES: FUN TRACKS WISECRACKS contains 16 songs recorded between 1980 and 2005 that highlight uproarious tunes from a diverse group of hit-makers, including Devo, Squirrel Nut Zippers, They Might Be Giants, Citizen King, Was (Not Was), Less Than Jake and Wall Of Voodoo.

The collection features the #1 singles One Week by Barenaked Ladies, which topped Billboards Hot 100 in 1998, and My Own Worst Enemy by Lit, which topped Billboards Modern Rock chart in 1999. TBS TUNES: FUN TRACKS WISECRACKS also includes the gut/chart-busting tracks Peaches by The Presidents Of The United States Of America and 1985 by Grammy -nominated Bowling For Soup.

Pop hooks and punch lines, TBS TUNES rocks with demented ditties like Push Th Little Daisies from Weens 1992 cult classic Pure Guava; plants a tongue firmly in cheek for Cakes cover of Gloria Gaynors 1979 #1 disco anthem I Will Survive; plays culture shock for laughs with Wall of Voodoos Mexican Radio from Stan Ridgway and companys 1982 album, Call of the West; and gets giddy with The Supersuckers take on the OutKast smash Hey Ya!

The following is the track listing for TBS TUNES: FUN TRACKS WISECRACKS:

1. 1985 Bowling For Soup

2. My Own Worst Enemy Lit

3. Whip It Devo

4. Birdhouse In Your Soul They Might Be Giants
