The ABC Television Network and Touchstone Television captured four wins at the 2006 Golden Globe Awards ceremony held last night, leading all broadcast and cable networks. Previous Golden Globe winner �Desperate Housewives� won its second straight award for Best Television Series � Musical or Comedy, while Emmy-winning series �Lost� was recognized with its first Golden Globe statue for Best Television Series � Drama. This marks the first time since 1998 that a broadcast network has swept the awards for the Television Series Drama and Comedy categories.
Geena Davis won the vote for her first Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series � Drama for �Commander In Chief.� Sandra Oh also achieved her first Golden Globe recognition for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Miniseries or Motion Picture for �Grey�s Anatomy.�
