FANS OF 'THE OFFICE' CAN SEND FREE VALENTINE'S DAY E-CARDS FEATURING THE DUNDER MIFFLIN STAFF THROUGH NBC.COM AND WATCH THE 'VALENTINE'S DAY' EPISODE ON FEBRUARY 9 AT 9:30 PM ET

BURBANK, Calif. - February 1, 2006 - Fans of the hit NBC comedy "The Office" can spread the love by sending a free Valentine's Day e-card to family, friends and co-workers, featuring that wacky bunch from Dunder Mifflin, the desk jockeys of "The Office."

Due to the popularity of "The Office" holiday e-cards, the Dunder Mifflin gang has created some special Valentine's Day e-cards especially for their fans. Beginning February 9, viewers can go to http://www.nbc.com/The_Office/ and select among four free e-card designs featuring "The Office" staff sharing the love on Valentine's Day. Once selected, viewers can personalize the cards and send to family, friends and co-workers.

On February 9, the "Valentine's Day" episode of "The Office" has Michael (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) visiting Dunder Mifflin corporate headquarters in New York on Valentine's Day where he and Jan (Melora Hardin) are both in for a surprise. Meanwhile, back in Scranton, the office staff celebrates Valentine's Day grade school style.

"The Office" takes a painfully funny look at the interactions of the office drones at Dunder Mifflin paper company in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Golden Globe winner Steve Carell ("The 40-Year Old Virgin") stars as unctuous regional manager Michael Scott who hosts a documentary crew on a tour of the workplace. Jenna Fischer ("Miss Match"), John Krasinski ("Jarhead," "Kinsey"), Rainn Wilson ("Six Feet Under"), and B.J. Novak ("Punk'd") star as the employees who tolerate Michael's inappropriate behavior only because he signs their paychecks.

From Reveille and NBC Universal Television Studio, "The Office" is executive-produced by Ben Silverman, Greg Daniels who developed the series for American television, Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Howard Klein.
